Installed with Wirsbo AQUAPEX®, the D'MAND® Hot Water Delivery System provides homeowners with hot water in seconds - resulting in energy and water savings for today's homes.
The system features a pump, which is activated by either an activation button or a motion sensor located near the plumbing fixture - kitchen sink, bathroom sink or shower, etc.
Once the pump is activated, hot water reaches the fixture in just seconds. That means you don't have to wait for the water to warm up. A temperature sensor detects when hot water arrives at the fixture and automatically turns off the pump so you don't waste energy.
Quickly and easily installed during new home construction, the D'MAND system uses the Uponor Logic layout. This type of layout incorporates a loop of tubing that starts at the hot water supply line and returns to the heater where it tees into the main line supplying cold water to the heater.
