After more than a decade of successful use with our Network system, Uponor now offers another installation method for non-stagnant, multi-purpose fire safety systems: the AQUASAFE® Looped system. This system, like the Network, is also a non-stagnant, multi-purpose plumbing and fire safety system that combines a home’s potable cold-water plumbing system with the fire sprinkler system for added peace of mind.
However, the Looped system features two-port, stainless-steel sprinkler fittings connected directly to a main loop line of ¾" or 1" AQUAPEX® tubing.
Both Network and Looped systems offer the same benefits of verifying fresh water is available each time a cold-water plumbing fixture is used, eliminating the problem of stagnant water as well as the need for check valves and backflow preventers. And both systems can be installed by a trained and certified plumbing contractor, streamlining construction schedules and eliminating added hassles.
